Daniel Ortiz-Bacon, Technical Services Manager for Lititz Flooring, DBA Capri Collections will present this informative, interactive educational webinar. 

In this webinar, Daniel Ortiz-Bacon, CIM, will review the ins and outs of a commercial flooring installation project. He will provide participants with a comprehensive view into the planning and execution of a successful installation - covering all aspects from bidding to closing out a project. Participants will get an overview of how to properly plan for the unexpected and how to overcome obstacles that arise on commercial projects.

Presenter Daniel Ortiz-Bacon, CIM, is a 13-year veteran in the flooring industry. Daniel began his journey, as many others do, as an installer. As his interest in the industry grew, so did his experience, serving in several positions from installer, Field Supervisor, Project Manager, to Vice President of Operations, all for the same company. Throughout his career, his interest leaned towards the technical side, which lead him to his current position as Technical Services Manager for Lititz Flooring, a DBA established by Capri Collections. Daniel’s involvement with FCICA dates back a decade when he joined as a Project Manager with Allstate Floors, a commercial Flooring company servicing the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metropolitan area. Daniel has since been a member of several committees, including the CIM committee which developed the Certified Installation Manager Program, as well as serving on the Board of Directors. Daniel has also written several articles for The Flooring Contractor magazine. In his new role as Technical Services Manager for Lititz Flooring, his passion lies in educating architects, designers, vendors and contractors to ensure product knowledge and successful installations.
