The Floor Care Technician assists in the preventative maintenance and cleaning services jobs for the customers of the Cleaning Services division. The incumbent will complete all assigned work orders for carpet cleaning, spot removal, tile scrubbing and waxing, waxing and polishing of resilient floors, polishing, screening and re-coating of residential wood floors as well as specialty surfaces (sports floors). The Floor Care Technician will also assist in assigned work orders for final construction site cleans. 

 

 DUTIES 

 

 Represents Jack Laurie Group in a professional manner at all times 

 Arrives at job sites in uniform at all times 

 Follows work order instructions to the letter per customer requests 

 Notifies Field Lead of unplanned cleaning requirements or time overages 

 Communicates progress to Field Lead and customer (whenever possible) 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS 

 

 Must be able to work evenings and weekends 

 Must have a current Driver's License 

 Must have knowledge of floor maintenance equipment - Cimex, scrubbers/polishers, cleaning chemicals, waxes, degreasers
