Technical Sales Representative
Oscoda Plastics (Protect-All Flooring), a sister company of Duro-Last Roofing, is looking for a Technical Sales Representative. This position is based out of Oscoda, Michigan.
To provide training and technical support to Protect-All customers, contractors and sales reps.
Assist in the Research & Development of new and existing products.
Host visiting flooring contractors for in-house and field training seminars on a monthly basis and evaluate their performance.
Will be responsible for warranty inspections, trouble shooting and weekly reporting.
Will develop and maintain customer relationships.
Interact with other departments in the organization to ensure the proper ordering of Protect-All products.
Other duties as assigned.
Associate’s degree or related equivalent experience is required
Management or supervisory experience is highly desired
A minimum of 2 years of flooring installation experience or construction related experience preferred
Must be organized and self-motivated
Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills
Must be able to travel frequently (2 -3 weeks per month minimum)
Possess outstanding communication and presentation skills
