Sean Leahy, East Regional Sales Manager Interior Finishing and Andreas Eisenmann, Product Engineer RSB TM Interior Finishing for Sika Corporation will present this informative educational webinar.

In this course, Sean and Andreas will present information about the history of wood flooring, installation methods, sound reduction, and how elastic bonding has become the method of choice today. The course will also cover your wood flooring basics such as flooring types, moisture effects, substrate preparation, potential issues, and what additional products can be implemented to ensure a proper installation. Lastly the course will break down the benefits of an elastic vs. rigid adhesive installation, and the current and future state of elastic wood flooring adhesives.

Presenter, Sean Leahy has been in the flooring industry for over two decades. Starting on the contractor side, Sean learned about the flooring industry from the ground up. Early positions as an estimator and project manager with a commercial contractor in New Jersey introduced him to the many installation methods, finished flooring products and surface preparation scenarios. After 10 years working for the contractor side of the business he moved over to the Manufacturer side, working for HB Fuller for 10 years dealing primarily with Tec Installation products and Chapco Adhesives. As the East Regional Manager for Sika Interior Finishes, he leads the sales team focusing on a full line of Surface Prep products, flooring adhesives and the new Sika Tile installation system.

Presenter, Andreas Eisenmann has been in the flooring industry for the past 6 years. Andreas began working for the Sika Corporation, prior to graduating from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2015 and has learned about the flooring industry from the ground up. Early positions as a Marketing Coordinator with the Sika Commercial Refurbishment, Sealing, and Bonding team introduced him to a wide range of construction products. Andreas then moved into the Interior Finishing travel manufacturer’s representative role, working directly with all US Floor and Décor locations. Currently, he is the Marketing Manager and Product Engineer for the Sika Interior Finishes team focusing on a full line of Sika® MB and SikaLevel® surface preparation products, SikaBond® flooring adhesives and the brand-new SikaTile® tile and stone installation product range.
