FCICA shares dates and details about two 2021 events: 2021 Annual Convention and Commercial Flooring Trade Show and the May Virtual Meeting. 

FCICA is excited to announce the 2021 Annual Convention will be held in Austin, TX September 13-15, 2021. This will be FCICA's return to an in-person meeting.

In addition to the Convention, FCICA is also pleased to announce the May Virtual Meeting to be held May 25 - 26, 2021. Originally scheduled to take place in person, the May Meeting is now virtual. FCICA leadership, keen to build on the success of the 2020 Mid-Year Meeting virtual event, which realized almost 450 registrants from across the flooring community, decided to hold the May Meeting virtually.

FCICA Executive Board Members and CJ Church, Executive Director, made the decision to postpose an in-person May event after member feedback indicated many in the community were not yet ready to travel. 

Catherine Church stated “While our members were really looking forward to an in-person meeting in May, there were still some hesitant to travel. So we pivoted, making our May Meeting virtual and the fall meeting will be the Annual Convention and Commercial Flooring Trade Show. We're looking ahead and really excited about gathering in person. Austin is a great location and an ideal city for our first in person member 'reunion' after such a long absence."

Registration for the May Virtual Meeting is now open for both attendees and associate presenters. Associate Members are invited to present in one of the limited time slots for a fee. Similar to FCICA’s first virtual venture, the May Virtual Meeting will consist of 2-full days of online associate member and educational sessions, each 45 minutes in length, keynote speakers, networking sessions and a virtual happy hour. Virtual meetings reach a larger, broader audience within the industry, particularly since attendee participation is free. Schedule details will follow in the coming weeks.

Simultaneously, FCICA leadership is planning the 2021 Annual Convention and Commercial Flooring Trade Show, September 14-16, 2021 in Austin, Texas. This in-person convention will consist of presentations, the commercial flooring trade show, fun activities and many in-person networking opportunities, as well as the 3 Days to CIM Program.
