FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, announces management change in new partnership agreement with CM Services, Inc. effective July 1, 2020. 

FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce it has contracted with CM Services, Inc. of Glen Ellyn, IL. CM Services, Inc will assume management of all FCICA business functions, effective July 1, 2020.

CM Services, Inc. was chosen after a thorough selection process and careful review by the Association’s Board of Directors. Board Chairman, Pat Kelly, of Synergy Flooring Ltd., stated “the Board has decided to make a change to help FCICA and its members succeed into the future. The experience and fresh perspective that CM Services will bring to FCICA is exciting for all our members and our industry.”

CM Services, Inc. is an AMC industry leader with 40+ years of association management experience including 20+ years managing the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association, in addition to 15 other associations. CM Services’ unique business partnership philosophy will continue to foster and advance FCICA’s mission and commitment to its members.

Rick Church, President of CM Services and Executive Director of the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association, will serve as FCICA’s Management Liaison and Catherine (CJ) Church, Vice President of CM Services and current Association Manager of the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association, will serve as FCICA’s Executive Director. To assure a smooth and seamless transition, the CM Services, Inc. team has been working together with previous management over the last 8 weeks. All programmatic and business activities will continue including all education and product webinars, CIM program support, events and member engagement.

2020 has seen trade and professional organizations reexamine and sharpen their focus. Pat Kelly highlighted this need. “Organizations coming together to share best practices and work together to solve challenges has never been more important. The new realities we are all living and doing business in create uncertainty for all of us. FCICA wants to be positioned to deliver value to all our member companies to help them and their employees be educated, professional and positioned to deliver value to their customers. FCICA will continue to play an important role in ensuring our members have a place to connect, collaborate and withstand the new economic conditions being placed on us by this global pandemic.”
