FCICA is pleased to announce Tim Baucom, will be the closing keynote speaker at the May Virtual Meeting. His address caps FCICA's upcoming May 25-26 online event: Virtual Eye on the Horizon - a Look into the Future of Commercial Flooring.

Tim Baucom, President and CEO of Shaw Industries, the world’s largest manufacturer of carpet and leading producer and supplier of hard surface flooring products, has served in his role since April 2019, then in April 2021 added CEO to his title.

Baucom's leadership approach is to cultivate Shaw’s business from the outside-in. This customer-centric focus ensures everything Shaw does is driven by the needs of those who buy, sell and use the company’s products and services. Since joining Shaw in 1992, Baucom has built a proven track record of innovation and leadership in sales, marketing and strategic planning across multiple departments and divisions, including leading Shaw’s commercial and residential divisions. Prior to Shaw, Baucom spent 11 years at DuPont where he began his now 40-year career in the flooring industry. Baucom holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of South Carolina and a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia.
