FCICA is pleased to announce Scott Humphrey, CEO of the World Floor Covering Association, will be the opening keynote speaker at the May Virtual Meeting. His keynote presentation kicks off FCICA's upcoming 2-day online event.

A leader in the flooring industry, Mr. Humphrey has over 45 years of experience in the floor covering industry including 25 years at Shaw Industries, where he served in many roles including Director of the Shaw Flooring Network, an elite group of over 2,000 independent flooring retailers. Under his leadership, the Shaw Flooring Network saw unprecedented growth and became one of the most profitable aspects of the company's overall business. He is an avid writer and is currently finalizing a book titled "Common Sense, Not Common Practice."

As CEO, Mr. Humphrey heads the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA), the floor coverings industry's largest advocacy organization representing specialty floor covering retailers, manufacturers and distributors around the globe. WFCA’s mission is to ensure the success and profitability of professional floor covering dealers and to protect their common interests.

With the floor covering industry’s businesses having experienced recent challenges, Mr. Humphrey will share his expertise, outlook and insights on navigating flooring’s future.
