Dean Craft elected Director of the Southeast Region for CSI

Gulfport, Miss. (April 19, 2021) – Dean E. Craft, a principal and co-founder of ISE Logik Industries, has been elected Director of the Southeast Region for the Construction Specifications Institute’s national Board of Directors. CSI is a national non-profit organization of 7,000+ members founded in 1948. It is dedicated to improving the communication of construction information through continuous development of standards and formats, education and certification of professionals to improve the building industry. “It’s an honor to have been elected for this position. I look forward to contributing to CSI’s organizational mission in any way I can, and to working with the rest of CSI’s board and regional and chapter leadership,” said Craft.

Along with co-founder and fellow principal David P. Seland, Mr. Craft has positioned ISE Logik Industries as a thought leader in strategies aimed at proactively addressing concrete moisture vapor emission issues, and as leading developer of moisture mitigation technology for new and existing concrete slabs receiving flooring and roofing systems. “Our focus is ever on saving projects time and money when it comes to addressing this ever-present and frustrating issue.”

Mr. Craft is a retired U.S. Marine Corp. LtCol with a doctorate in Global Leadership. He has presented over 1,000 times on how to proactively address concrete moisture in the design phase. In addition to his appointment by CSI, he is the principal author and technical chair of ASTM F3191–16: “Standard Practice for Field Determination of Substrate Water Absorption (Porosity) for Substrates to Receive Resilient Flooring.” Mr. Craft is a voting member of the ASTM Committee D08 on roofing and waterproofing, among others.
