FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, is pleased to share it recognized three member companies for their long-standing commitment to the Certified Installation Manager (CIM) Program. 

At the 2023 Annual Convention and Commercial Flooring Trade Show, held March 27-29 in Tucson, AZ, FCICA recognized and thanked Atlanta Flooring Design Centers, Bonitz and DCO Commercial Floors for their support and commitment to the CIM Program. Each contractor company was recognized as a 'CIM Champion' for having more than 15 current project managers as active CIMs. Company representatives were heralded as committed advocates for the professional advancement of their employees by enrolling them in this industry recognized educational training program. 

Representatives were presented with a CIM Champion certificate by Mike Kelly, CIM, Synergy Flooring, CIM Steering Committee Chair. 

FCICA thanks all its members (and nonmembers) for their support of the CIM Program.

About the CIM Program - The Certified Installation Manager (CIM) Program, the only certification program available for floor covering installation project managers, sets the industry standard for those involved in the management of commercial flooring projects. The Program, training modules led by experts who speak from years of floor covering experience, paired with assessments, enhances the qualified flooring professional’s core skill set, experience and knowledge base necessary to successfully manage commercial flooring projects. Individuals who reach this level of expertise are easily distinguished by their Certified Installation Manager (CIM) designation. Launched in 2015, this certification program has graduated over 350 installation managers.
