FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, is pleased to announce it has elected a new officer to the Executive Board for 2024.

During the Board Meeting, held in conjunction with the CFI FCICA 2023 Convention and Trade Show on September 20 - 22, FCICA leadership nominated its newest Officer, Shane Jenkins, to its Executive Board as Vice Chair of Associates. Shane takes on the role from Jeffrey Johnson, MAPEI Corporation, who just completed a 5-year term in the position. Jeffrey Johnson will remain on the FCICA Board of Directors as a Director.

Shane Jenkins is the Director of Technical Training and Development with Schönox, HPS North America Inc. Schönox, HPS North America Inc. is a 13-year active member and strong supporter of FCICA.

Current board member, John Gillespie, CIM, LBJ Interior Solutions, was named as Vice Chairman of the Board. John takes on the role from Mike Roberts, Flooring America Knoxville and Honorary FCICA member who just completed a 5-year term in the position, totaling 13 years on the Executive Board, beginning as Treasurer.

Board Chair, Pat Kelly, Synergy Flooring, thanked and recognized departing board member Mike Roberts for his service as Vice Chairman and Jeffrey Johnson for his service as Vice Chairman of Associates. Both were recognized and presented service certificates at the Convention’s Award Ceremony Thursday evening.

Also continuing their terms as directors are Jeffrey Johnson, MAPEI Corporation; Russell Cleveland, Milliken & Company; Jim Lockwood, CIM, Consolidated Flooring; Scott McDonald, CIM, Lansing Tile & Mosaic; Bill Pargoe, Network Flooring & Maintenance; Rod Von Busch, CIM, C.D.I. Floors; Huseyin Koca, CIM, Partner Flooring, Membership Committee Chairman; Don Styka, CIM, Tarkett, Education Committee Chairman; D Clark, CIM, Fishman Flooring Solutions; Jerry Lee, Protect-All Flooring; Seth Pevarnik, ARDEX Americas; Wilmer Pressel, CIM, Inside Edge Commercial Interior Services; Jesse Tranel, CIM, DCO Commercial Floors and John West, CIM, F L Crane and Sons.

The FCICA Board of Directors serve a three-year rotational term and are elected at FCICA’s annual convention by members in good standing.
