FCICA to Host 'The Importance of Floor Preparation and Subfloor Moisture Testing - PART TWO', an Educational Webinar
FCICA, the Flooring Contractors Association, announces a December education webinar featuring Evan Lauridsen from Shaw Industries.
Industry professionals are invited to attend the Thursday, December 8, 11 CDT / 12 Noon EDT education webinar - 'The Importance of Floor Preparation and Subfloor Moisture Testing - PART TWO' presented by Evan Lauridsen, Regional Manager, Technical Support Hard Surfaces with Shaw Industries.
In this second segment, Evan Lauridsen will discuss how poor floor preparation, excessive subfloor moisture and alkali damage result in hundreds of millions of dollars in damage to floor coverings every year. Evan will highlight ways to prevent such damage from occurring - and affecting your bottom line.
In PART ONE (September 2022) Evan discussed the various industry requirements for 'clean, flat, dry and sound'; and specific to glued-down solid vinyl resilient sheet goods - the additional requirement of 'smooth'. He reviewed examples of what each of the requirements entail. Part TWO includes more in depth coverage for each requirement.
This webinar is offered free to FCICA members; $39.95 for nonmembers. Registration is required.
