Shaw Industries Hosts Diverzify Team for 2 Days to CIM Training Event

The Flooring Contractors Association is excited to announce it held a 2 Days to CIM training event where 16 flooring professionals became Certified Installation Managers (CIMs). 

Long-term FCICA member and supporter, Shaw Industries, hosted the training at their Create Centre in Cartersville, GA for contractor member Diverzify Tuesday and Wednesday, September 10 - 11. 

16 Diverzify staff, who came from across the country to Cartersville, earned their CIM designation after 2 days of intensive instruction and assessments. CIMs Mike Kelly and Gray Kelly of Synergy Flooring Ltd. served as CIM mentors. The training event provided the candidates a supportive, in-person group learning experience and professional industry camaraderie.  

The Diverzify team came together for the training under the leadership of Tim Mitcheltree, President, National Operations, who is supportive of FCICA and the CIM Program. His response, post-training, "I heard nothing but positive feedback from those who attended the program. From my perspective, the content exceeded expectations." Diverzify and FCICA plan to hold future 2 Days to CIM training events. 

Shaw Industries' Create Centre provided an ideal site and location to conduct the training. At the conclusion of the first day of training, Shaw hosted the group for a celebratory evening dinner at a local restaurant. FCICA and Diverzify are especially grateful to Alicia Ariza, Director Commercial CX and Dealer Channel, Shaw Industries and her team for hosting the group and for their generous support and assistance.
